Ordering Process
The process begins with an initial consultation which normally takes place via a Teams call, but at your request can be on the telephone or in person.
Prior to the chat if you can send over some inspiration pictures of the kinds of colours and flowers you like as a starting point- this will be super helpful. I can then assist during the initial consultation to discuss your vision, theme, and colour scheme, and any substitutions from the inspiration pictures that may be needed, as well as any flowers you definitely would like me to include. We will also discuss your budget and the types of floral arrangements you may need.
Please note that I have a minimum spend of £2000.00 on flowers before VAT. Delivery and set up charges are in addition.
After gathering all the information during our consultation, I will create a detailed proposal and quotation. The quotation will outline the suggested floral arrangements, flower varieties, quantities, and overall costs.
You will then review my proposal and can request any adjustments or changes as needed.
At this initial stage you may need lots of pricing for items in order to make up your mind- my quote has two sections a “Live” section and a “Possibilities” section, so I can always swap and adjust in order to get the quote just how you would like it.
Once you are fully satisfied with the quotation that I have provided I will then send you an invoice for your initial non-refundable deposit of £400.00 to confirm your booking and secure your preferred date once paid. Your balance will be required 6 weeks prior to your wedding.
Please remember you don’t have to be definitive at the enquiry stage to book me. The majority of my couples ask for initial costings, and then send over a booking deposit to secure the date. Then as the weeks progress, we can fine tune and adjust the draft as your wedding plans evolve along the way. I can only commit to one wedding per day so please do let me know ASAP if you plan to go ahead in order to avoid disappointment.
It may be necessary to arrange a site visit to your venue depending on the complexity of your wedding location. This visit will enable me to fully understand the space and any specific requirements for installation of your floral dècor
Once your deposit is paid and the booking is secured, you will receive a receipt to confirm your booking. Then final flower lists are sent to my suppliers 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
This is also when the balance payment is due. At this point I cannot reduce your order, but can very easily add to your order for any last minute increases. Any changes within the 6 week period will be discussed to see how we can repurpose the flowers already allocated, or if any additional flowers are required.
As your wedding day approaches, I will begin designing and creating your floral arrangements. This could include bouquets, table centrepieces, buttonholes, corsages, arches and other venue displays. Some items will be created on site due to their size.
On the day of your wedding, I will be responsible for delivering your floral arrangements and installing them at your venue at an agreed time. Please do let me know the arrival time that your venue allows supplier access, and if there are any special requirements I should know. Feel free also to provide some contact phone numbers for key persons (not main wedding party as you guys are pretty hectic! I would suggest a bridesmaid or groom’s party member that can be called upon for any last-minute queries).
Any repurposing of ceremony displays over to reception area will be factored in to my set up and delivery fees if required.
Depending on a multitude of factors I may be required to remove your floral dècor and collect any hired items. I include this when calculating your delivery charge so there are no surprises. Should you not be hiring any items from me then delivery and set up on the day only would apply.
Following your wedding I will return any safety deposits once I have safely collected up your hired items (if applicable). I also love to see your wedding photos- so please do bombard me with these!
