Welcome to Flowers by Helen Elizabeth. I have been a wedding florist for over a decade and up until recently I ran a florist shop in Theale, Berkshire called Croppers in Bloom.

After many years of creating all kinds of floral designs I decided to close the retail aspect of my business and specialise in wedding and event floristry in order to focus on this area and offer a more personal and bespoke service to my clients.

Together we can plan your perfect wedding flowers for your perfect day. I use a variety of specialist suppliers, so I can ensure that your colour scheme or theme is reflected in your florals for the big day. I dedicate the whole day to your event- so I see you on the morning of the wedding with your personal flowers, then head over to your ceremony area- whether that be a church or civil ceremony, and then decorate accordingly.

Then I move over to the reception area to install the table decor and other venue areas that may need flowers. I then move any ceremony flowers over to the reception while you enjoy your welcome drinks and photos- because my motto is “never leave a stem behind!”. Should any hired items be needed, I then return the following day to collect those- all of the flowers are yours to take home or distribute to your nearest and dearest that have celebrated with you. 

I love meeting with couples to discuss their wedding or event plans, from all things flowery to the finer details. The process often evolves along the way, from the first meeting to the day I deliver your chosen blooms, but for me that is all part of the fun!

I literally LOVE my job- it does not feel like I have done a day’s work in my life! Making flowers for celebration days like a wedding feel so special- and each and every one is special. Each and every combination is different, like my couples are- which makes my job endlessly fun and ever changing. I may have decorated the same venue many many times in the past, but the personal stamps my couples put on their days make my job so varied and quirky- it makes me want to stay and be a guest for the whole day! (I won’t I promise!!) Hopefully my past couples will vouch for the care and conscientiousness I have poured into every past wedding- and my ever growing Google reviews are something I am so super proud of. I am so fortunate to have my job as a wedding florist, I still after over 20 years of doing so have a huge passion for my job, and I can’t wait to create some special memories for your big day too.

I have worked in lots of lovely wedding venues throughout Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire over the duration of my time as a retail florist and yet no two are the same again that’s why I love my job so much.

I can cater for all aspects of your special day- from the all-important bridal bouquet and matching buttonholes, to the church and venue decor which create the perfect setting. I pride myself on being able to suggest seasonal and where possible locally sourced blooms and foliage to make your day super special and personal.
